We are....two wild and crazy guys!

Swinging, the Festrunk brothers enter their bachelor pad.
Yortuk says, "Oh, Georg my brother, there will certainly be a lot of swinging in our bachelor pad tonight!"

Laughing and swinging, Georg leans back and says, "Hold it! Let's catch some rays!"
"You and what Army!" laughs Yortuk. "Forget about it!"
They swing over towards their wet bar.
"Ah, that fox bar was really something tonight. It was no difficulty to see many swinging Americans enjoying each other a great deal." says Georg.

"And here is a thing I will tell you," says Yortuk, "that two swinging foxes have the hots-on for us, and are coming here tonight to let us hold on to their big American breasts!"

Opening two bottles of beer, Georg says,  "Why not? There's nothing preventing them. After all, there is no other pair of Czech brothers who cruise and swing so successfully in tight slacks!"

Georg toasts his brother Yortuk, "We are...two wild and crazy guys!"
"Soon, will be the foxes." says Yortuk. And the doorbell rings!

"Fox-es!" they yell and swing successfully to the front door.

"Look who it is standing here, our swinging American buddy, Cliff." says Georg.
"Slap my hand, black soul man!" Georg extends his hand and Cliff slaps it.

"Uh, hi Georg, hi Yortuk." says Cliff.

"Hey, man, I was invited to this really hot party tonight. Do you guys wanna go?"

"No way! That's your funeral!"  Yortuk laughs.

"Don't come crawling to us. Two hot fashion models from the fox bar will be here soon to give themselves to the Festrunk Brothers!" brags Georg.

Cliff says "You.. got two ladies coming here tonight? I don't believe it!"

"We cruised for them in our tight slacks which give us great bulges!" smiles Georg.

"Wait a minute.." says Cliff,  "if these chicks were so interested, why didn't they just come back with you, man?"

"Oh, we gave them the address to our bachelor pad. They had to go to the Statue of Liberty to pick up their birth control devices." Yortuk informs Cliff.

"Uh, what..? The Statue of Liberty..?" stutters Cliff.

"They told us that in America, many American park rangers distribute birth control devices." says Georg.

Yortuk adds "Poor foxes. Every time they are having sex, they must go to the closest national monument."

"O-kay.. Yortuk, Georg.. sit down for a minute, I've got to talk to you." says Cliff kindly.  "Now, these chicks.. are not going to show up."

"Who told you that?!" Yortuk asks.

"Man, you guys have been hosed, baby." answers Cliff.

Excitedly, Georg yells, "Hosed?! Count me in!" He and Yortuk laugh.

"No, no, no, no.. Uh.. hosed.. tricked.. I mean, they stood you up, man. They're not coming here. These ladies figured, 'Hey, we got these two Czechoslovakian dudes trying to pick us up....what do they know? Let's hose 'em.' These chicks were lying, man." explains Cliff.

Georg says,  "I blame myself."
"This really bums me out." replies Yortuk.
"We sure have a drag." they say in unison.
"We will never swing again...," says Georg.

Cliff smiles and says,  "Hey, look.. you're good guys, man. But sometimes you come on too strong, man. Now, when we're out partying, if you want to score with girls, you can't keep running around yelling.. Let's swi-i-ing! You wanna swi-i-ing? Man, you gotta be cool, man! You're in America! This is America!"

"Come on, you guys...look, don't take it so hard. Let's go to that party, man!" Cliff says.

The doorbell rings.

"Who can this be?" asks Yortuk. Georg and Yortuk move slowly to the door, barely swinging.

"Now are the foxes!!" exclaims Yortuk.

"Hey, foxes! Clean up your act!" says Georg, and he and Yortuk laugh.

"Hi, Yortuk. Hi, Georg. Sorry we're late." says Fox #1.

"No hassles, man." says Yortuk.  "Hey! Listen to Georg's joke!"

"Okay! How many astro-sign medallions can you wear?" asks Georg.

Fox #2 says, "I don't know, I.."

"Next time, try five of them!" interrupts Georg, laughing with Yortuk.

"Let's go, foxes! Le-e-et's swing!" calls out Yortuk.

"So get off my back, Let's get it on!" swings Georg.

"So, now you know. We are.. two wild and crazy guys!" from both Yortuk and Georg.

Thanks to my friend Myrtle Mayhem at Dollhouse Shenanigans for finding the Festrunk brothers on ebay and sending a link to me with the subject line "2 wild and crazy guys!"  When they arrived at the Village, they sported just wild slacks and white shirts. I added prints to their shirts, caps, medallions, hair on their chests...and of course their bulges!

And thanks to Saturday Night Live for the story line and basic dialogue AND for entertaining us all these years!

Coming to America!

Christine and Hans-Herman Anderson  left their home in Minden, Germany and immigrated to Texas....the US state with the most embarrassing politicians.

The Andersons were residents of Püppilottchen’s Toy Blog . They decided to sell their Lundby Stockholm villa and move to Texas where Hans-Herman will be setting up his pediatric practice. Here you can read the story of how they met and fell in love.

Since they are making this a permanent move, they brought lots of luggage.

The appointment with their realtor, Chantelle Seller, is at her home. Christine and Hans are thinking that Texans dress very casually....but they both agree that she has a very nice home. Chantelle introduces them to her husband Chip.

Chantelle has found them a very nice rental that is fully furnished, and hopes they like modern houses. This home, she tells them, was built by Brio in 1966. The Andersons are thinking they should have rested after arriving this morning....they have a feeling they look like zombies.

Entering the house, Chantelle first takes them to the kitchen. Christine comments that she likes the color scheme of lime green and turquoise, then laughing she says "We come all the way to America and we get a European size fridge!"  Hans-Herman, who considers himself quite the chef, tells Chantelle it looks like a good work space.

Next they check out the bathroom. "Hmm, only one sink," says Christine, "but I think the mirror is large enough to share!"  "It looks like I stepped in something, " says Hans-Herman, "and I'm tracking it everywhere! What is this? Tacky wax?"

Christine falls in love with the dining room.  Hans-Herman likes the corner area  where he and Christine can relax with an after dinner drink and contemplate just what makes Texas conservative politicians bat-shit crazy.

 Up the stairs! says Madge.

"Come, come! Come see your new living area. I just know you will love it!"

"So, what do you think? Do you like the fireplace? You rarely need one in Houston, but we just turn the air as low as it will go and light a fire!"

Christine starts playing some tunes on the baby grand. She had to sell her piano before leaving Germany, so she is happy to see one as part of their furnishings.

"Awwwk! Your boobs are falling out of your halter top!" says Hans-Herman. "OMG did I say that out loud??? I was trying to say where will I put the wide screen TV?"

"So nice to have a vanity table since the bathroom is so small, " says Christine.
Hans adds, "The bed looks large enough for three.....I mean comfy for both of us."

"
"Yes, comfy, very comfy indeed!"

"Christine, I think we will be very happy here."

This Brio house was sold in 1966.

Greetings of the Season....from Texas!

Around my dollhouse village, my little "peeps" (borrowed that term from my friend Amy who promises to start a blog on her Lundby lovelies very soon!) are getting in the spirit of the holidays......

Here we find Alex and Sara and their pup Pookie hanging a wreath on the red door of their Keystone house that was built in the mid 1930s. Looks like they have already decorated the fir trees gracing the entrance.

Rhett (who is a big boy) is helping daddy hang the wreath on their 1950 era Keystone house by staying out of his way. Rhett is hoping Santa will bring him a "two-wheeler" for Christmas!

On the south side of the village, up on a hill, we find Papa Nils waiting for Pia to hang the last ornament on the tree so he can place the new starburst on the top. Little Harald is busy playing with his kitty Kelo while Mama Margit waits in her comfy chair to light the candles on the tree...

Camille and Gabriel Bertrand hung their holiday wreath and are walking to the village store to buy candles for their tree. They are giving instructions to Baby Huey Bertrand to stay close to the chalet while they are away. Papa Bertrand always takes his umbrella with him.

In the middle of the village, Karen Wagner holds the wreath to hang on their door while hubby Doug prepares the reindeer topiaries to place on their front lawn. They are thinking about adding a red nose to one of the reindeer.......

Jeanette Renwal is trying to coax her kitty Titus away from the door of their 1940 Rich Toy home so her dad can hang their Christmas wreath. Titus must be from the same litter as Susan's lovely Darci.

In a corner of the village, Pappa Niklas Karlsson takes a nap in his chair by the tree while his wife Nana Astrid clears the dinner dishes. She is happy they decorated the tree before dinner so Niklas is free to have his nap! She is proud of her new retirement home built by Caroline's Home.

Chloe Hughes brings the door wreath to hubby Rhys while little Sofie waits patiently to help her pop. They live on the upper east side of the village near the Karlssons.

Little Greyson has helped daddy hang the wreath on their front door, but mom needed to make some adjustments.......

Grandma Wuensche wishes she could remember just where she stored the angel tree-topper because her darling grandkids are excited about seeing real candles on her little tree!

And, from one of my favorite cards from 1979, my holiday wishes to you...
